These terms are the agreement between you and MiPlat Labs (Tabbertsse 6, 12459 Berlin, Germany) about using MehrZi. By signing in, you accept them. How we handle your data is in the privacy policy.
Using MehrZi
- You need to be 16 or over, or have a parent's or guardian's permission.
- One account per person. Keep your Google account safe: whoever can use it can use your MehrZi account.
- MehrZi is free to use for now. If we ever charge for parts of it, we'll say so clearly first, and nothing you already have will be charged without your agreement.
Please don't
- Use MehrZi to break the law, or to harass or harm anyone.
- Try to get into other people's accounts or data, overload the service, or get around its limits.
- Copy the stories out of MehrZi to publish or sell them.
Stories and recordings
- The stories belong to the creators who recorded them. You may use them in MehrZi to learn, not elsewhere.
- Creators confirm, for every upload, that the recording is their own or that they have the right to share it, and let MehrZi store, transcribe, translate and show it to learners for as long as it's published. They can unpublish it.
- Your own Shadow recordings stay yours. We use them only to score your speaking, as the privacy policy says.
The service
We work to keep MehrZi running and accurate, but we can't promise it will always be available or free of mistakes: scores and translations are made by software and can be wrong. We may change or end features; if we close MehrZi, we'll tell you in good time.
We may block an account that breaks these terms. You can stop using MehrZi and delete your account at any time on your profile.
Liability
We are liable without limit for harm caused on purpose or by gross negligence, and for injury to life, body or health. Otherwise, as far as the law allows, we are only liable for breaching essential duties, and only for harm that was foreseeable.
Changes and law
If we change these terms, we'll tell you in the app before the change applies; if you don't agree, you can delete your account. The law of Germany applies, without taking away protections the law of your own country gives you as a consumer.
